Privacy Policy

Hemerodromos (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website hemerodromos.com (the “Site”) and the Hemerodromos YouTube channel. This policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it.

Who we are

Hemerodromos is a video-series project operated by Bizbio Inc., based in London, Ontario, Canada. Contact: bryan@bizbio.com.

Information we collect

Browsing the Site. The Site is a static website. There are no accounts and no sign-up forms. We do not ask for or store personal information for you to browse it. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — for security and reliability purposes.

Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and we use them only to respond.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure the performance of our promotions. These services may set cookies and receive technical data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s opt-out tools.

Our YouTube publishing tools. Our internal publishing tools connect to the YouTube Data API Services to manage our own YouTube channel. Through them, we access data belonging to that channel — video metadata, channel information, and comments left by viewers on our videos (including display names and comment text). We use this data only to publish our videos, read and moderate comments, and improve our content. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. Comment data is stored in our private systems for content planning.

Google API Services disclosure

Hemerodromos’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. If you have connected a Google account to any of our tools, you can revoke that access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Third-party services

The following services process limited data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy: YouTube / Google (video hosting, analytics, and our publishing tools); Netlify (website hosting); Meta (advertising and measurement).

Children’s privacy

The Site and our content are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us at any time to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to request that we delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will change.
